Process vs Virtualization

A Provider for Hosting

In Hostinger, there is the possibility to manage processes or virtualizations.

Visualizations run on any hypervisor and are referred to as containers or VMs; they represent a virtual operating system.

A process is also a kind of container or an executable software packet that is started on an isolated VM, but it can also be a native system process.

Provider work-principle

A provider represents a driver, as in a Windows operating system, for example.


The provider translates defined Hostinger classes into listeners that can then be processed on the respective module.
